Application Window Open date: January 25, 2023 Most recent review date: Friday, Feb 24, 2023 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Thursday, Jul 25, 2024 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging and the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System (SF VAHCS) are jointly seeking an academic radiologist who is trained in a focused sub-specialty for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, In Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests. Faculty at UCSF and the SF VAMC are expected to develop a clinical or more basic research program in the area of one's specialty focus. Responsibilities include clinical service, teaching, and research. The selected candidate will supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students and their clinical work will be at the SF VA Medical Center, which is an affiliated teaching, clinical and research facility of UCSF. The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent), ability to practice medicine in California, and completion of fellowship training in an imaging sub-specialty. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) in Radiology. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission.
