As a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team, the Mechanical Engineering Co-op's primary responsibility will be to support sustaining engineering for components, finished assemblies, and tooling for various products and will report directly to the Director of Engineering. What You'll Do Product design support, development, and documentation Projects related to manufacturing processes, cost reductions, and quality improvements Drafting/Modeling with Solid Edge Reed Switch Sensor Design and Testing support Magnetic Component Packaging Design support Plastic Injection Molded Part Design support Involvement with Injection Molds, Progressive Dies, and Assembly Tooling & Processes Design validation and performance testing support Support department goals and initiatives related to product design and development Support FA (Failure Analysis) of existing components What You'll Bring Enrolled in an accredited BS program working towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Tech. What We Value Project Management and Organization Skills are a plus Solid Communication Skills for Interface with Customers, Internal Team Members, and Offsite Manufacturing Facilities.
