Student Financial Assistance

Student Financial Assistance is dedicated to supporting UCF's mission and goals through the efficient delivery of student aid. The office provides UCF students with a comprehensive offering of financial assistance options to support student success and the attainment of a university degree.

The Opportunity:

The Fiscal Support role will be responsible for assisting with accounting tasks within the Office of Student Financial Assistance as it pertains to processing scholarship checks and daily mail handling. As well as accounting special projects.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include retrieving, opening, sorting, and distributing the mail; logging, imaging, and deposit of financial aid checks received for scholarships and loans. This position could also assist the accounting department with reviewing and downloading UCF Foundation Scholarship journals and forms, and assistance with tuition waiver data entry.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailed Oriented.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • PeopleSoft experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, including the use of filters and sorting; accounting, cashiering, or bookkeeping experience.
