The Johns Hopkins Hospital Acute Inpatient Physical Medicine and Rehab Unit (Meyer 7) has 18 beds for adult patients requiring inpatient acute care including Physical, Occupational and/or Speech Therapy services. Our team of experts specialize in rehabilitation care for amputation, transplant receipients, spinal cord injury and dysfunction, complex medical conditions, brain injury and illness, musculoskeletal injury, and stroke. A Neuro-psychologist is available as part of the care team to provide support to the patient, family, and staff. You will work closely with the multi-disciplinary team in developing an inpatient and discharge care plan. Nurses educate patients and families to ensure a safe transition to home or lower acuity skilled nursing facilities as necessary.

Shifts: : 12 hour rotating shifts; 36 hours per week

Qualifications
  • Minimum Education Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
  • Applicants with an Associate's degree JHH provides Tuition Assistance $10,000 - $15,000 per fiscal year towards earning your BSN/MSN
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
  • RN work experience required
