Warehouse Custodian

Dorman Products is hiring a Warehouse Custodianto join our team in our Virginia Beach, VA location (Powertrain Industries). This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. In this role the ideal contributor will perform the following responsibilities:

• Disposal of trash and corrugated cardboard
• Cleaning and restocking restrooms
• Cleaning and restocking cafeteria
• Cleaning exterior dock bays
• Location cleanouts
• Operating the floor sweeper/floor scrubber.
• Participate in housekeeping projects.
• Participate in department meetings and projects
• Operate within standard operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications/Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• One to three months of related experience
• Good performance and safety records.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and/or work independently.
• Physical Requirement: Must be able to properly lift, pack, stack and wrap up 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to touch, grasp, handle and feel items. Noise level is usually moderate. Warehouse temperature may reach up to 90 degrees during the summer months.
