Salary for Announcement The minimum of the pay range for this position is $40,000. We anticipate the qualified candidate to be placed between $44,600 - $46,800. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Scholarship Advisor is responsible for working with both institutional and non-institutional offices, agencies, foundations and private donors on the awarding, processing, and tracking of all scholarships and special programs under they manage. Works autonomously to fulfill data requests and provides various reports as required throughout the academic year for all scholarship programs for which they are responsible. Provides general and MSU Denver specific scholarship and Financial Aid counseling to current and prospective students and their families. Serves as the Office of Financial Aid liaison with outside private scholarship agencies. Serves on scholarship and/or retention committees as needed. Scholarship Advisor's responsibilities at MSU Denver serve an essential educational function of the University as it works closely with the strategic enrollment management initiatives including recommending, establishing, and administering policies and procedures related to delivery of aid to students in order for students to achieve their college degrees.
