ISO New England is looking for an experienced Supervisor for the Enterprise Infrastructure team. This teammanages the IT systems required for 24x7 operation of Enterprise-Class systems. In this role, you willoversee the team that maintains ISO New England's physical data centers, networking (campus and wide-area), storage, servers, Unix/Windows operating systems, as well as public and private cloud technologies. The team directly cares for and manages uptime, security, stability and lifecycle of all relevant technologies, ensuring compliance with vulnerability data, SOC1 audit, Center for Internet Security (CIS) and other compliance-driven technologies. You and your direct reports will also interface directly with supported business-line customers, ensuring all services and systems are performing resiliently and nominally.
How you will make an impact
- Analyze existing systems and develop plans for upgrades and improvements to the environment.
- Be the primary contact responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of systems.
- Mentor/develop team members and perform annual evaluations.
- Collaborate with other departments and professionals in the development of IT systems.
- Interface with ISO's Project Management Office on initiatives and major efforts.
- Delegate tasks and assist in the development of IT budgets and work schedules.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Cyber Security or related fields.Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 5+ years working with infrastructure technologies, to include at least 3 years integrating different infrastructure technologies
- 1+ years providing direct supervision to IT professionals, to include recruiting, training, and evaluating staff members
- Experience supporting critical Industrial Control Systems (ICS)
- Knowledge of data center operation best practices and networking concepts
- Prior experience maintaining hybrid data center technologies between on-premise and multi-cloud environments preferred
- Experience working with concepts such as DevOps, Agile, ITIL, etc. and employing configuration management technologies (SCCM, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills including verbal, written, and visual
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
