The Role

Our Post-Merger Integration Advisory practice is looking for a Consultant to join our journey. We're seeking people who are passionate about transformation, want to make an impact, and love working together to deliver flawless results for an end-client. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting projects that are highly visible in the market and you will have a chance to use your entrepreneurial spirit along with your knowledge and experience to help clients shape their future state and future successes. as part of our overall portfolio, we help clients create a successful business outcome through the M&A Process. We focus on Integration Management, , IT Assessments, Production Synergies, IT Operating Models, Portfolio Rationalization, Cost Strategies, and enabling business process optimization to transform the business and contribute to the overall success of the merger.

We're looking for Consultants who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Consultant, this means creating high-quality client deliverables and taking ownership (with supervision) of producing client content and meeting client expectations; developing an expertise in your functional area, including obtaining certifications; contributing to Client Satisfaction and/or RFPs; supporting leadership and contributing to content development for service offerings; and participating in PeopleCare initiatives and exhibiting personal leadership at all times. In addition to enabling consulting excellence through the Five Pillars of Consulting, the specific requirements for this position are below.

Responsibilities



  • Exercise responsibility for one or more components of a consulting engagement
  • Support or drive data-driven identification and analysis of solution requirement
  • Conduct workshops with clients to elicit requirements as the basis for creating business requirements documents and user stories
  • Monitor solution quality compliance to standards and conduct or facilitate structured solution walkthroughs
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and issue tracking / resolution
  • Support solution change or enhancement requests
  • Prepare and deliver solution training workshops and collateral for clients
  • Perform other project tasks as needed, such as competitive research, storyline development, and report preparation (e.g., acceptance, QA).
  • These associates develop a profound understanding of the Cognizant way, productive project collaboration skills and practice deliverables, collegial support and information-sharing practices, and exquisite client sensibilities.


Qualifications



  • 2-5 + years working in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development within the targeted industry
  • Masters or MBA Degree a plus
  • Solution acceptance testing experience (functional, integration, manual, automation)
  • Experience with program quality frameworks, methods, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma)
  • Experience in working in Agile environments, and proficiency with requirements collection tools (e.g., JIRA, R4J, RRC, and so on)
  • Exposure to cloud/digital projects
  • Exposure to international clients across various geographical locations
  • Experience in working on complex multi-team projects using an onsite / offshore model
  • Draw conclusions from the market / industry trends, client issues and support go to market initiatives for Cognizant.
  • Travel Required: Yes / 75%
