Responsibilities



  • Deep knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics and algorithms, Data Structures, Big data , Multi-threaded programming and distributed computing
  • Experience in machine learning and data mining techniques and algorithms, specializing in one or more of the following areas: Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Data distribution analysis, Statistical analysis , Supervised/Unsupervised/Reinforcement learning , predictive modeling, time series analysis/forecasting, recommendation Engine & Optimization, text mining/natural language processing, computer vision , Image and Video analytics
  • Demonstrated experience developing best practices and recommendations around tools/technologies for Data collection, Data preparation, Feature Engineering, Model Management, MLOps, Model Deployment approaches , Model monitoring and tuning.
  • Experience in Building analytics solutions and developing algorithms for machine learning, statistics, mathematical programming, and simulation
  • Extensive experience on the workflow and pipeline architectures of Machine learning and Deep Learning workloads.
  • Experience in advanced analytics tools (such as SAS, R and Python) along with applied mathematics, ML /Deep Learning frameworks & techniques
  • Extensive experience with implementing artificial intelligence , machine learning & Deep learning systems design and performance analysis models, algorithms, and tools.
  • A track record of delivery of several large-scale AI ML projects from Requirement Analysis until production deployment
  • Experience in AI/ML operations and automation of various approaches as part of the Model Life Cycle Development
  • Experience in Building and delivering technical design and reference architecture as it relates to AI & Machine Learning
  • Experience in end-to-end ML/DL Architecture Engineering
  • Programming in any one of the following platforms - R, Java, Scala, Python, Spark
  • Experience with AI, Machine Learning & Deep learning on Cloud Analytics Services such as AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, Google VertexAI & Databricks ML
  • Experience in Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as Scikit-learn, Pandas, SciPy, Gensim and Numpy; deep learning frameworks especially TensorFlow, Pytorch and Keras.
  • Good understanding software application architecture and develop integration approaches for predictive models
  • Ability to understand system integration aspects of integrating model input and output in transactional systems to help real time decision making

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[170,000 - 190,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
