Infrastructure Engineer

Reporting to the Technology Services Manager, this high level individual contributor will work collaboratively with Software Engineers to analyze, develop, implement, support, and continuously evolve software-defined infrastructure, application patterns, software, and technology solutions in Cloud environments to govern, monitor, and secure the cloud environments and data for the company. You will build repeatable solutions working within and between engineering and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements. Looking for 5+ years with demonstrated proficiency and experience across a broad range of cloud services. Cloud service experience in Azure, AWS, and GPC are preferred but not required. Compensation Minimum:$90,200 /year Compensation Maximum:$144,500 /year

Job Description Responsibilities:

Specialized Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of infrastructure technologies
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of multiple infrastructure and non-infrastructure IT areas (e.g. development, configuration, deployment, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience developing & testing code (applications, scripts, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of one or more of the following focus areas:

    Computing platform technologies - Public and private cloud infrastructure design, virtualization technologies, server platforms such as Linux and Windows, storage systems, desktop technologies, etc.

    Database and Middleware technologies - DBMS platforms such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, web infrastructure platforms such as JBoss EAP and IIS, software engineering and SOA.

    Network and Communications technologies - IP networking, carrier services, telephony and customer contact management solutions, communication and collaboration technologies such as email messaging, text messaging, desktop sharing, social networking solutions and services.

This position is a hybrid role that involves working a minimum of 10 days per month in the office. Work locations for this role include: Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Minneapolis, MN; Denver, CO; Phoenix, AZ; Nashville, TN; Atlanta, GA
