We are looking for a Shipping Audit Work Station (SAWS) who will bring support, organization and above all else, personality to our team. It is important to us that this person has the energy and desire to manage the execution of all activities that are deemed necessary to the position.

The notable responsibilities of the Shipping Audit Work Station (SAWS) are:

• To inspect carton to be shipped, repair damaged carton, check labels and replace when needed, process carton with missing or defective units.
• Perform keyboard transactions to operate core systems, such as Mandate
• Inspect cartons that have failed an outbound weight check
• Process cartons with missing units following procedures
• Operate hand-held scanner
• Verify contents of cartons following procedure. Perform services as needed
• Re-pack, close, and tape cartons following procedures
• Perform basic operator functions on printers
• Process cartons with missing labels following procedures
• Perform exception processing as required
• Communicate and partner with shipping co-workers and advisors regarding resolving outbound carton issues
• Maintain established accuracy goals

What the Shipping Audit Work Station (SAWS) already has:

• High School diploma or GED
• Previous warehouse experience is a HUGE BONUS
• Ability to operate heavy equipment, or
• Ability to use a handheld scanner, or
• Experience driving a pallet rider and/or fork truck
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Excellent number correlation
• Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities
• Working knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Extremely strong customer service orientation and the ability to multi-task; with the desire to work in a very fast paced environment and an ability to not become frustrated with last minute changes
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong team orientation
• Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy
• Demonstrated ability to learn new computer programs quickly
• Must demonstrate an energetic, positive, helpful demeanor and a passion and interest in LS & Co.
