YOUR DAY TO DAY:

Candidate will be working in a non-routine fast paced assembly team environment. The candidate will be responsible for directed assembly work, material cycle counts, work area cleanliness and organization, accuracy of all work performed, and conformance to applicable workmanship standards. Daily assembly tasks require handling of various material such as epoxies, acetone, alcohol, and solder while working under a microscope in an ESD class 100,000 clean room work area. The candidate must be able to self-manage work while ensuring that department goals are being met regarding quality, cost, and schedule.

YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:



  • Die attach and/or manual bonding experience per Mil Std 883 a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Formal technical training preferred, and a minimum of 5 years mechanical experience required.
  • Understanding of blueprints and engineering drawings as well as general procedures for assembly processes is required.
  • Daily use of calipers, hand and power tools, microscopes, and other assembly related equipment.
  • J-STD_001 solder certification preferred.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).


Salary range: $30.00 - $34.00 / hour
