Position Summary The Department of Neurology at Columbia University is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work with physicians in the department's outpatient neuromuscular medicine division. The practice serves patients with a variety of neuromuscular disorders including: peripheral neuropathy, myopathies, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, mitochondrial diseases, muscular dystrophies, and others. The Nurse Practitioner will work under the supervision of the attending physicians and be expected to ramp up his/her own schedule of patients over the course of the first year. Education and training in subspecialty neuromuscular care will be provided as necessary. Responsibilities
