Overview:

We are looking for a skilled financial planner or wealth management professional eager to take their career to the next level. This unique opportunity allows you to work on some of the most challenging and rewarding cases in the field, offering daily opportunities for growth and development. As part of a specialized team, you will focus on dynamic wealth planning consulting and collaborative techniques exclusively for independent financial advisors serving high-net-worth clients.

While in this role you won't be responsible for creating financial plans, you will regularly engage in virtual meetings, consulting with financial advisors, and occasionally, their clients. Your objective will be to offer thoughtful, non-obvious solutions that create opportunities. This requires the ability to navigate through ambiguity, providing a framework to explore what's possible based on advisor requests. Over time, you will get the opportunity to collaborate on a wide range of subjects, including tax planning for the sale of highly appreciated assets, federally taxable estates, planned giving, business succession planning, and funding investment and insurance solutions, depending on your existing experience. Rest assured, you will receive comprehensive training and close support as part of our team.

Strong candidates should possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in financial services, ideally in retail client facing roles. You should possess a broad understanding of fundamental financial planning aspects, encompassing investments, insurance, taxation, estate planning, and retirement planning, along with the relevant financial products. In addition to technical expertise and experience, candidates must exhibit outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.

What you'll do:

  • Develop solutions that integrate investment planning, tax optimization, retirement planning, estate planning, and risk management considerations
  • Foster productive discussions by asking insightful questions and demonstrating curiosity to achieve optimal outcomes quickly
  • Illustrate standalone projections for certain techniques involving trusts
  • Recommend solutions that integrate investment planning, tax optimization, retirement planning, estate planning, and risk management considerations
  • Communicate complex financial and tax concepts and strategies clearly and collaborate with others to execute them effectively
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to bring holistic and comprehensive views to the table; including but not limited to marketing, legal, compliance, accountants, and carrier partners
  • Stay current with various planning strategies, continuously expanding knowledge and skills
  • Embrace a collaborative mindset, demonstrating leadership or support as dictated by the situation and circumstances

Experience you'll bring:

  • 3 years minimum Client-facing experience in team-based wealth management, financial planning, or related roles
  • Broad knowledge of taxation, estate planning, investments, and insurance
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; can quickly develop relationships and inspire trust with advisors and clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong analytical and problem solving; the ability to interpret facts, address issues and explore possibilities beyond initial request
  • Commitment to ethics and trustworthiness, safeguarding client confidentiality and prioritizing their best interests
  • Intermediate to strong Microsoft Suite skills
  • Effective presentation skills for virtual advisor and retail client meetings
  • Demonstrated history of self-directed learning, sound decision-making, and navigating ambiguity toward positive outcomes, regardless of uncertain circumstances or external directives

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Professional certifications (CFP, CTFA, CLU, EA, CPA, JD, etc.) preferred; may be required in the future
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

What you'll get:

  • Amazing benefits including medical, dental, vision and 401k (with matching options)
  • Generous PTO package upon your start date
  • Continuous personal and professional development opportunities
  • Recognition for hard work & exemplary performance
  • Employee Sponsored events.... And so much more!
