Position Title: Registered Nurse - Outdoor School Department: Instructional Services / Northwest Outdoor Science School Location: (Various Locations) Reports To: Outdoor School Site Supervisor Compensation: 2023-2024 NOSS Salary Schedule ($33.95-$43.00 per hour) Spring 2024 Dates: February 14, 2024-June 4, 2024 ** THREE POSITIONS AVAILABLE** NW REGIONAL ESD'S MISSION STATEMENT: In partnership with the communities we serve, Northwest Regional ESD improves student learning by providing equitable access to high quality services and support. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply for this unique opportunity to work with Northwest Regional Education Service District students in an unparalleled outdoor classroom. Students in Outdoor School receive an exciting environmental education and are able to explore their surroundings (mountains, forests, steams, and fields) 24 hours a day; be part of this experience with your nursing knowledge and help us give these students the best experience possible! Essential Functions:
This position is overnight, requiring the employee to live on-site during the work week Monday-Friday. Room and board are provided. Our program operates at multiple sites in Northwest Oregon near the following communities; Vernonia, Salem, Cloverdale, Rockaway Beach, and one site TBD. This position is temporary, but there may be an opportunity available to continue employment in future sessions. NWRESD believes that every individual makes a significant contribution to our success.
