Role Description

Position Summary:

Global Workday Manager is an individual contributor within the within the HR Strategic Initiatives team in Global Human Resources. This role will report to Director, HR Technology, Operations & Strategic Initiatives. The primary responsibility of this position is to execute on the vision for our Workday Human Capital Management business application. Responsibilities will also include optimization of our application usage and business process performance, based on assigned Workday HCM functional area. These activities include data integrity, reporting, functional testing, feature release upgrades, executing process improvement plans and supporting cross functional initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities, other duties may be assigned

  • Managing assigned Workday HCM functional area(s) as functional point-of-contact
  • Maintain data quality and integrity across assigned Workday HCM functional area(s), including data validation and audit requests
  • Support reporting needs and configuration updates within Workday for assigned functional area
  • Managing the completion of Tier 2 and Tier 3 escalated support cases for Workday
  • Serve as an escalation point for inquiries and issues for assigned functional area(s)
  • Test and perform EIB loads for various functions within HR
  • Completion and maintenance of HR Technology roadmaps through collaboration with the Director, HR Technology
  • Business case intake, planning, and execution of approved application enhancement projects
  • Actively participate in Workday Community by researching best practices and monitoring new and updated functionality
  • Review application upgrades/releases to determine overall business impact, conduct testing and make recommendations for future enhancements/functionality
  • Provide ad hoc support as necessary to HR and business leaders
  • Take initiative to anticipate business needs and making recommendations
  • Manage project deliverables and milestones
  • Proactively escalate issues and risks when needed
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance and IT, for cross functional support

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with multiple modules across Workday HCM suite
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge of HR business processes and terminology
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects, and adhere to deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated self-starter and results oriented
