YOUR DAY TO DAY:

Plater I

Reporting to the Plating Lead, the Plater will perform plating tasks for CPI's Econco facility. Located in Woodland, California since 1969, Econco is a recognized leader in rebuilt power tubes, offering a wide array of power grid devices for use in radar, industrial, communications and medical applications, as well as state-of-the-art magnetrons for industrial heating and processing applications. Econco is part of CPI's Microwave Power Products Division.

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:



  • Performs a variety of production tasks of chemical cleaning, grit blasting, finishing, and plating of machined parts and assemblies.
  • Wires parts and assemblies for processing.
  • Uses microscope and magnifying lite for bench checking work to ensure quality requirements are met.
  • Mixes and blends chemicals for process bath make ups.
  • Performs associated maintenance (i.e. filter changes, anode cleaning & tank wipe downs) requirements for processing baths.
  • Works to specific safety, quality and security requirements and instructions.
  • Maintain assigned work areas in a clean and orderly manner.


YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
* Good communication skills both verbally and in writing
* Able to work around chemicals
* Manual dexterity required.
* Able to lift 20-40 pounds in a regular basis.
* Able to work overtime.
* Soldering experience a plus
