Position Summary A position is available for a highly motivated individual as a Research Technician B in the Owusu-Ansah lab in the Department of Physiology and Cellular Biophysics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Our laboratory studies how mitochondrial respiratory complexes are assembled using fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster) as a model system. The candidate will work closely as part of a team, using transcriptomic, proteomic, genetic, molecular, and biochemical approaches and offers an excellent opportunity for training in a vigorous research setting. Minimum Qualifications The position requires a Bachelor's degree in biology, molecular biology, or biochemistry or closely related field, or equivalent in combined education, training and experience Preferred Qualifications
