Manufacturing Quality and Product Engineer

This position is for Essai Test Solutions, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Advantest America, Inc. located in Fremont, CA, Chandler, AZ and Phoenix, AZ.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Establish inspection methodologies and frequency requirements.
• Drive quality improvements of manufacturing piece part as well as assembly of products.
• Knowledge of precision Metrology and Metrology Development is required.
• Develop and conduct Measurement Capability Analysis and Gage R&R.
• Develop accurate and objective Quality Metrics (Key Process Indicators).
• Understanding and ability to work with automated inspection equipment such as Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM).
• Conduct time studies, test reports and evaluations to improve quality.
• Acting liaison between Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Applications Engineering.
• Work closely with external customers and suppliers to understand and resolve material and product issues.
