The Opportunity:

As a data architect, you know how to apply your creative-thinking and analytical mindset to help organizations manage their data assets. We're looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for a national intelligence organization.

As a data architect on our Task Order Mission team, you'll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for the organizations data strategy, data governance, and data infrastructure. You'll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by providing advice on data warehousing methods and approaches, analyzing data architecture-related needs, and working with project client senior staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments.

In this role, you'll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and use tools and programming languages to design database structure and assess data models, data warehouse applications, and business intelligence reports. You'll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you'll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met and solutions are delivered.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience with Cloud-based data platforms

  • Experience with data modeling, design and implementation, and system administration

  • Experience with developing high-performance database applications and enterprise solutions

  • Experience with analyzing and transforming data requirements into functional business reports with the use of Business Intelligence tools, including Python and SQL

  • Ability to assess, design, and implement internal organization process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with designing data pipeline architecture for data ingestion into Big Data and multi-Cloud platforms

  • Experience with AWS docker

  • Knowledge of Agile management processes

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
