As a Behavioral Health Care Advocate, you'll support multiple regional teams by completing prior authorizations and concurrent reviews for mental health and substance use disorder treatments, including inpatient, IOP, partial, and residential levels of care, and Kansas waiver programs. Requests are received through a mix of digital faxes, phone queues, and chat queues. You'll have a direct impact on the lives of our members as you recommend and manage the appropriate level of care throughout the entire treatment plan. This position requires an active, unrestricted clinical license to practice independently without supervision in the state of Kansas. This Monday - Friday position offers the flexibility to work an 8-hour day between 8 AM - 6PM CST. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
