Faculty Part-time - Pharmaceutical Sciences

General Summary of Position:

The Department of Biomedical & Nutritional Sciences, part of the Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, is searching for part-time instructors to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in Pharmaceutical Sciences, both lectures and laboratory, in areas such as: Introduction to the Pharmaceutical Industry, Introduction to Drug Design, Molecular Pharmacology, Basic Pharmaceutics, Pharmacokinetics & Drug Metabolism, Principles of Pharmaceutical Sciences (lecture and lab), Pharmaceutical Research Design & Ethics, Pharmaceutical Analysis (lecture and lab), Drug Delivery, and Drug Discovery. Teaching opportunities will vary by semester, with opportunities beginning in the spring of 2022.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in a relevant science field with demonstrated related work in pharmaceutical sciences environment is required. A Doctoral degree in an appropriate science field is preferred and is required for some of the undergraduate and all graduate-level lecture courses.
• The ability to work effectively with diverse groups
• Candidates with qualifications to teach in more than one area or program will be given priority
• Successful candidates should also have a strong desire to teach a diverse population of students, and previous teaching experience at the university/college level is highly desirable
