This Opportunity:

The Associate,
Strategic Growth will be a member of the America's Strategic Growth Team
supporting the growth strategy, with a primary focus on proposal coordination.
The Associate helps to take an opportunity through the pipeline from identification
to submission. They will focus on overall planning, writing select
proposal/pre-proposal pieces, and coordinating the internal team and partner
inputs for bid efforts, and assists in broader bid preparation and production
aspects.

Location and
Compensation:

The position is based
in Palladium's Washington D.C. office.

For our prospective
employees in the United States, please note that the full-time equivalent
annual base salary for this position is expected to range from $52,000 to
$73,000, and successful candidates may also be eligible for additional,
variable incentive compensation dependent on the role. For part-time employees,
the salary will be prorated based on the actual number of hours worked.

Please be advised that a final salary offer will be based on various factors,
including but not limited to your qualifications, education, experience,
skills, seniority, performance, and Palladium's business or organizational
needs.

Reporting and
Supervision:

  • This person will
    report to the Manager, Strategic Growth

Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:

  • Support development of winning bids on
    contracts and cooperative agreements approved for pursuit
  • Work with a team to source, monitor and
    respond to strategic opportunities
  • Support all Portfolios in preparing and
    writing EOIs, technical and cost proposals
  • Support the management of the Americas
    pipeline, maintaining data quality, providing reports and data analysis as
    requested
  • Works closely with capture managers to
    successfully manage proposal efforts and resources, including timeline and
    action planning, identification of needed proposal team members,
    internal/external meeting support and facilitation,
    efficient communications, and organization of proposal component
    folders/files
  • Has lead responsibility for coordinating
    select proposals (including preparing tailored calendars, checklists,
    instructions, templates, and outlines), and monitoring progress
  • Performs analysis of RFP/A requirements
    and continually works to promote and ensure compliance
  • Guides and supports proposal team through
    necessary department-level processes and corporate-level reviews and
    decisions, adhering to established policies and protocols
  • Ensures vital flow of communication and
    task management between capture manager, portfolios, teams, partners, and
    other parties involved in the proposal process
  • Helps facilitate evolution and
    documentation of proposal strategy, such as competitive analysis,
    developing win themes and technical approach, visioning needed personnel,
    and selecting teaming partners
  • Strategically enhances/positions resume
    content
  • Edits, formats, and coordinates technical
    proposal sections as they develop (including managing file
    traffic/turnaround time, and close liaison with technical staff)
  • Reviews and edits submissions from
    partners, ensuring their inputs meet specified requirements and expected
    level of quality
  • Leads final technical and cost proposal
    production and submission, and coordinates post-submission debrief
  • Work with technical staff to develop
    winning strategies on proposals including the use of competitive analysis
    and research
  • Develop marketing materials and corporate
    capabilities statements as necessary
  • Develops depth of understanding and
    capacity of Portfolios, and helps facilitate proactive business
    development among all America's staff
  • Create meaningful relationships with
    partners, subcontractors and freelance consultants
  • Contribute to Palladium becoming the
    'contractor of choice' for consultancy assignments
  • Maintain excellent relationships with
    key partners, and support strategies for new partner engagement
