ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael's is hiring a Senior Budget Analyst and Task Lead to support a Department of Defense client. As a Senior Budget Analyst and Task Lead, you will oversee and manage the formulation and submission of annual authority and appropriation budget submissions. Our core value of Commitment is paramount as you will assist in the preparation of briefings to USSOCOM leadership to include briefings to the Comptroller, Component Commands, Center Directors, Division Chiefs, and high-level organizations outside USSOCOM to include the Military Services, Congressional Staffers and DFAS.

MacDill Air Force Base, FL (100% On-Site)

REQUIREMENTS
  • Five years of Department of Defense financial budgeting or execution experience.
  • Experience in analysis, accounting, financial reporting, budget execution, reconciliation, and strategic financial planning.
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field.
  • Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be responsible for handling the day-to-day management and administration of project tasks.
  • Assign contractor staff responsibilities.
  • Supervise all contractor staff efforts.
  • Utilize, control, and redirect available resources as necessary to complete tasks in accordance with scheduled milestones for deliverables and execution requirements, perform quality checks of all work products.
  • Interact continually with the Government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and any appointed Contracting Officer Technical Representatives (COTR, or TR) to present interim results, discuss concerns, and ensure total product/service satisfaction.
  • Advise the COR of any anticipated or actual absence that extends beyond one week, except TDY's, and tailor suitable coverage to ensure no mission impact.
  • Required to identify tasks required to support programming for select special access and focal point-controlled programs.
  • Develop funding requests and tracking through the administration of Letters of Authorization (LOA) and Expenditure Authorization Documents (EAD) to include review, validation, and staffing for CDR, USSOCOM approval.
  • Track the authorities and preparing internal and external reports as required to USSOCOM Leadership and OSD; and other external agencies as required.
  • Coordinate opening and locking the MIP portion of SNAP with SOFM System Integration.
