Ansell is looking for a Sr. Manager, Commercial Sales & Data Excellence to join our team in Iselin, NJ!

In this position you will play a vital role in Driving Sales Operations aimed at enhancing commercial performance and defining & maintaining the Commercial data needs in partnership with IT for NA region. This role will also champion the development, advancement, and execution of programs in collaboration with IT, focusing on establishing comprehensive, clean, and accurate master and POS data to facilitate timely data access for critical decision-making.

What your role will be?

Collaborating with our cross functional teams, and reporting to the (Director, Sales Enablement & Commercial Analytics), you will have the opportunity to:


  • Incentive Programs: Design, manage and execute sales incentive programs collaboratively to align incentives and motivate sales teams. Collaborate closely with Finance and HR to support the payout process. Establish strong SOPs, processes for timely and accurate delivery of SIP targets and payouts.
  • Territory Management: Allocate sales resources effectively across regions or markets.
  • Salesforce Management: Configure, maintain, and optimize CRM (SFDC) for pipeline management and lead tracking.
  • Sales Process Optimization & Documentation: Develop and document strong sales processes to provide timely support to Sales teams.
  • Assessment & Adjustment: Continuously assess sales enablement initiatives, making necessary adjustments for improved outcomes.
  • Policy & Oversight: Define policies, oversee Salesforce.com, ensuring effective use by the sales team.
  • System Enablement: Collaborate with Marketing to enable Salesforce systems for handling product samples.
  • Continuous Training: Provide ongoing training on Sales systems and dashboards to Sales teams.
  • Samples & Fleet Management: Responsible for sales fleet management and product samples
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Commercial Analytics and Commercial Unit leaders to evaluate Sales activities impacting revenue growth.
  • Data Needs Definition: Lead efforts to define POS (distributor sell out) data needs for the commercial region in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Standardization: Lead efforts to standardize customer, product, and core master data elements across systems.
  • IT Collaboration: Collaborate closely with IT to build and maintain a comprehensive, accurate, and standardized data infrastructure.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy, integrity, and security through best practices in data management and governance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Strive for continuous improvement in data operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Sales teams, channels, and vendors to gather data requirements.
  • Best Practice Sharing: Share Data management and Sales Operations best practices with the LAC region for scaling capabilities in the Americas.
  • Team & Project Management:
  • Analyst Oversight: Oversee and coordinate analyst activities for timely and quality deliverables.
  • Project Initiation & Management: Initiate and manage tools, systems, and process improvement projects for enhanced operations and sales efficiency.
  • Ansell Project Participation: Actively participate in Ansell projects as a representative and owner of sales operations and data owner.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate, coach, and support a team of analysts and sr. analysts.
  • Development & Performance: Manage the Development and Performance Process, conduct reviews, assess performance, and provide continuous feedback.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Foster collaboration and communication with internal stakeholders (including sales teams), promoting, training, and informing them on team projects and priorities.


What will you bring to Ansell?


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Data Management, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in Sales operations and Data management.
  • Preferred experience in industrial and/or medical industries.
  • Experience interacting with Sales teams.
  • People management & Team Leadership experience highly preferred
  • Proven experience leading complex data initiatives involving collaboration with cross-functional teams, including commercial, marketing, demand planning, and finance.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM systems and sales automation tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, and project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).
