Media Planning & Strategy at MRM Media requires a blend of creativity, science, psychology, tech-savvy and innovation. We strategize how brands should communicate with people across the myriad of media channels, and how to do that differently from every other brand. This role will allow you to flex your media prowess in service of solving big brand and business challenges.

We are seeking an Associate Director, SEM to lead day to day strategy and initiatives.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

  • Work hand-in-hand with the SEM SVP in the oversight of marketing operations for multiple clients, including but not limited to:
    • Campaign planning and implementation utilizing advanced targeting, bidding, and ad copy strategies to maximize campaign performance and efficiency.
    • Campaign management and optimization across various platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads covering:
      • Budget management to ensure efficient use of resources and maximization of return on investment/
      • Monitoring of spend trends, adjusting budgets as necessary, and providing regular budget forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
      • Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to measure the success of SEM campaigns.
      • Developing and delivering regular reports and presentations to senior leadership, providing insights into campaign performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and manage a team of search analysts.
  • Manage publisher and vendor relationships.
  • Strengthen client relationships.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of search marketing experience

* Mentorship, coaching and personnel-management experience

* Expert knowledge in Google and Bing

* Advanced experience in bid management tools and analytics platforms

* Strong math skills

* Strong Excel and Power Point skills

* Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines

* Exceptional interpersonal skills

* Entrepreneurial spirit

* Talented presenter

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee's/applicant's background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
