Responsibilities

    Enter data into databases
  • Follow SOPs and other applicable laboratory or company procedures
  • Maintain confidential information
  • Interact with the community and employees
  • Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior management
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for receiving, processing, maintaining, and return/disposal of samples and reference standards for Inotiv
  • Assist in the maintenance of the stability program functions
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all samples and standards for current projects
  • Document receipt/delivery of samples and reference standards according to cGMP, cGLP, cGCP, etc.
  • Responsible for initiation, programming study design, and receiving samples electronically in to Watson (LIMS) system.
  • Oversees sample tracking in Watson.
  • Responsible for interfacing Watson with sample receipt process, which may include sample check-in duties.
  • Responsible for functions associated with the sample handling module within Watson
  • Communicate with the Business Development department, Principal Investigators, Clients, and Client Services on a daily basis
  • Responsible for the shipment of hazardous materials via various means of transportation.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to use a computer to compile and maintain databases for records and inventory utilizing the appropriate software
  • Ability to follow written instructions and work with a minimum of supervision
  • Know and understand applicable national and state regulations, with the ability to apply these practices daily
  • Working knowledge of and ability to adhere HIPAA regulations
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to adhere regulations and procedures
  • DOT training for receiving, handling, and shipping hazardous materials


Qualifications

A.S. in Business Administration or a related field with 1-2 years of inventory control experience.

OR

B.S. in Biology, a B.S. in a related field

Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be considered.

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
