Ansell is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team in Iselin, NJ!

In this position you will play a vital role in supporting the recently created Global Product and Marketing Organization (GPMO) as a finance manager to business partner on the interpretation of results, forward looking indicators, and decision-making processes. Specific areas of support include consolidation of financial decks, financial modeling, KPI reporting, communicating forecasts/budgets, margin improvement projects and working closely with leadership on the annual budget and Long-Range Planning. Tactically, monitoring sales and supply trends and pricing/costing guidance are of the utmost importance.

What your role will be?

Business Unit Financial Responsibilities:


  • Monthly/quarterly analysis and reporting of sales, down to BU contribution versus targets and last year.This includes periodic product profitability and trend analysis and understanding the drivers of the factory variances.
  • Speak to BU month-end results, explaining the drivers for the BU performance.
  • Continuously improve the monthly and quarterly reporting package while maintaining a standardized view across the BUs.Align with the BI team where needed.
  • Support the margin improvement projects
  • Manage the review of quarterly cost impacts and understand impacts to regional 'landed cost'. Support BU leaders by preparing impact analysis for price change recommendations where needed.
  • Ad hoc price support considering the latest cost trends
  • Consolidate and review the forecasts and budgets provided by the Regional Finance team, providing a global view to BU management.
  • Support portfolio performance optimization through:
  • Portfolio rationalization of underperforming or aging products including gauging and minimizing financial impact on sales, manufacturing, and inventory provisions
  • Support new product development business cases leveraging critical thinking and business experience to challenge financial and marketing assumptions
  • Collaborate closely with BU leaders to create and challenge business cases
  • Support the annual Long-Range Planning process where required

GPMO Financial Responsibilities:


  • Support the GPMO Finance Director in the monthly M1 and consolidated P&L reporting, the quarterly forecast deck and other presentations
  • Support the IBP process through review of the plant capacity utilization, stock levels and other metrics as needed
  • Assist in master data management to support product portfolio managers, ensuring reporting systems are aligned.
  • Help prepare capital investment sanctions for growth projects where needed.
  • Support the GPMO with various ad hoc projects /M&A initiatives
  • Analyze, improve/develop and follow-up of procedures and internal processes.


What will you bring to Ansell?


  • MBA or CPA would be an advantage in future career progression.
  • Eight or more years of diversified finance experience including reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in financial modelling and business partnering is a must
  • Knowledge of product costing, including duties and transportation cost structures.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Experience with MS office suite software with key strength in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in HFM/FCCS and Qlikview Business Intelligence an advantage
