The RoleThe Director of Employee Services will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the HR Shared Service function within our organization. This role combines strategic thinking with operational excellence to deliver efficient and effective HR services to our employees while leveraging data analytics to drive insights and inform decision-making. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing processes, systems, and analytics frameworks to enhance the employee experience, optimize HR operations, and support organizational growth. Your Impact
  • Develop the vision and strategy for the HR shared service function aligned with the overall HR and organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business needs and translate them into HR service delivery strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR service delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Build the HR shared service function from the ground up, including defining service offerings, processes, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Implement technology solutions to support HR service delivery, such as case management systems, and knowledge management platforms.
  • Partner with HRIS to enhance and optimize data architecture, business processes and system configurations.
  • Collect, organize, and build out policies, SOP's, job aids and other foundational tools and artifacts.
  • Develop a reporting framework to collect, analyze, and interpret HR transactional data to drive insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Identify key HR metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Produce regular reports and dashboards to communicate HR metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the delivery of HR services through the shared service center, ensuring high-quality and timely support to employees and managers.
  • Monitor SLAs and performance metrics to track service delivery performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement service standards and best practices to enhance the employee experience and drive employee satisfaction.
  • Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of the HR shared service model across the organization.
  • Develop communication plans to educate employees and managers about the new HR service delivery model and how to access HR services.
  • Ensure HR processes and practices comply with relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Implement controls and measures to mitigate risks related to data privacy, security, and compliance.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR or Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 12 years of work experience and 8+ years of management experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility, preferably within a global organization.
  • Experience with setting up a shared services center, and implementation of technology to drive efficiencies and a positive user experience.
  • Ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented, and matrix-structured environment. To interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business in keeping with company values and culture.
  • Experience partnering with IT and HRIS to embed agile principles into the shared services infrastructure.
  • Great relationship-building skills and a passion for helping others to develop.
  • Good judgment, professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative style.
  • Creative problem solver grounded in analytical skills and open to new ideas and continuous improvement.
  • Strong change management skills and a results-oriented approach.
