We're hiring a Mortgage Servicing Specialist III to join our Loan Operations Team in Souderton, PA. Responsibilities Input new mortgage loans to the JH Banking System and verify accuracy, especially with escrow amounts Perform quality control of mortgage and escrow documents scanned in Synergy Imagining System after loan input Provide second level reviews of boarded mortgages Fund mortgages sold to investors via Jack Henry and maintain Excel spreadsheet for reporting purposes Respond to telephone and email requests from internal and external customers for mortgage loan information Respond to telephone and email requests from internal and external customers for mortgage escrow information and handle annual escrow analysis statement questions Process the addition and removal of escrow accounts based on investor guidelines Disburse payments from escrow for quarterly and yearly tax bills Monitor and maintain Tax Reports received from LERETA Tax Services Research payment information with tax authorities when refunds are necessary Disburse payments from escrow for monthly payments to mortgage insurance (PMI) companies Activate PMI for newly boarded loans Maintain and disburse monthly payments to PMI companies Process requests for the removal of PMI following regulatory and agency guidelines Understand and analyze complex escrow issues like handling tax shortages due to increases in homeowners' insurance and taxes. Support customer and branch staff with inquiries for homeowner's insurance claims and track progress Daily settlements on Escrow general ledger, FHA general ledger, tax bills wire account and private mortgage insurance general ledger Provide backup for daily and monthly loan settlements and reconcilements for FNMA and FHLMC, GNMA and FHLB loans Provide backup for mortgage investor activities, including reporting, remittance, file maintenance, quality control, custodial accounting Assist with implementing and completion of the annual escrow analysis process Understand and process loan recast requests Support insurance claim process with customer and branch staff inquiries Understand and assist with Partial Release of property based on investor guidelines Understand and assist with Succession in Interest requests and appropriate regulatory requirements Mentor and assist teammates and new hires Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position including the Univest Code of Conduct Perform other duties as assigned HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Qualifications Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 3 years bank loan operations experience or equivalent required related education and experience Excellent customer service, telephone skills, written and verbal communication Understanding of mortgage loan documents and processing (including escrow) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to prioritize, organize, and enter data accurately Experience with Private Mortgage Insurance a plus Advanced PC, Word, Excel skills, Encompass, Jack Henry, Ground Control, and BlackLine a plus #Univest #LI-Hybrid An Equal Opportunity Employer.
