We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) conventional generation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The analyst will play a critical role in supporting decision-making processes by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on thorough financial analysis.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or a related discipline ispreferred
  • Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, using tools such as Power BI, MS Office and Anaplan
  • Experience working in the energy industry is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to our financial forecasts that will provide key insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Work on system administration and updating data, maintaining the integrity of financial information, and supporting a reliable foundation for analysis.
  • Fine-tune financial models in Modelling system, optimizing them for accuracy and relevance to current market conditions.
  • Maintain Excel models, for our financial analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual analysis vs forecasts and budgets.
  • Support manager in developing and presenting annual budget.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
  • Follow up with businesses for forecast updates and clarifying the questions.
  • Participate in the cross functional teams and meetings for monthly processes.
