Southwire Job Description

Job Summary/Objective:
This role is responsible for defending Southwire's brand through publishing content on social media platforms, digital advertising channels, as well as traditional trade publications. This individual will need to stay up-to-date on the latest social media and advertising best practices and platforms as well as monitor competitor presence. This individual will work collaboratively with stakeholders to create and maintain editorial calendars and posting schedules. They will also be responsible for capturing and analyzing metrics to measure campaign successes to advise on iterations to ensure continual growth of Southwire's core audience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
* Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company's social content
* Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
* Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
* Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
* Build out media buys for various ad platforms and oversee the day-to-day execution of paid media
* Oversee and manage overall paid media budget
* Protect Southwire's digital brand through curation and moderation of social posts
* Partner, collaborate, and communicate digital and print marketing plans, status updates, and campaign performance results and insights with marketing and sales teams.

Education, Experience & Skills:
Required
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's
Years of Experience: 5+

Preferred
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's
Certificates: Google Analytics
Years of Experience: 5+
Preferred Field of Expertise: Digital Advertising, Print Advertising, Social Media
