POSITION SUMMARY The Ski Patrol Director is responsible for the overall safety of the ski area in both summer and winter including directing the ski patrollers and bike patrollers teams to aid and assist the guests and to provide first aid and emergency transportation to injured skiers/ bikers/ patrons from the slopes or immediate vicinity to the Patrol triage location. The Ski Patrol Director promotes a culture of safety for guests and employees including ski and snowboard safety, enforcement of "The Responsibility Code, understands and operates within the Colorado Ski Safety act, biking safety, awareness and control, maintains proper safety equipment, signage, closures and ropes at the ski area and facilitates correction of safety problems. The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives. Steamboat area base salary range: $90,000 - $100,000 per year PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
