About the College of Computing: The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. The graduate CS program is currently ranked 6th and the undergraduate 5th nationally by U.S. News and World Report. The College consists of five Schools that provide specialized and general computing education to the entire campus. Provide professional services in support of unit management in field as specified in the particular job posting. Focus will be in a professional field such as Communications, Marketing, Customer Service, Academic Administration, Event Management, Procurement, etc. Specific duties will be determined based on assignment and unit needs. Job Duty 1 - Responsibilities
Help students navigate public transport in Barcelona Serve as a first point of contact at the student residence to deal with any emergencies in concert with the program director or other on-site faculty; be available to discuss with students any pressing personal issues they may have; keep the program director informed of student issues Liaise with staff at the student residence, students, and program director to address any concerns about student conduct, housing rules and student use of facilities/amenities with an aim to maintain positive relations and experience Work with the program director to organize program co- and extra curricular activities at host institution, the student residence, and in the city Serve as the Teaching Assistant for 2 courses (CS 4475; CS 4803-RAI); serve as a backup instructor in the event of illness of the course instructor Go with students to physician appointments or hospital/clinic visits as needed Organize and attend program social events Required Qualifications
