General Summary of Position:

The billing department at Granite Telecommunications is separated into several teams. This position will concentrate on the Billing Exceptions and NI Billing and Audit groups. The individual hired to this role will work in conjunction with the Billing Manager of billing and government accounts and the Director of Finance Operations to develop process improvements, lead IT enhancements and ensure the billing accuracy of a $1.7+ billion annualized company. The individual will be expected to facilitate communication and collaboration within the group and to manage revenue improvement projects cross- departmentally.

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Ensure the accuracy of $1.7+ billion in annualized revenue
  • Ensure the timely delivery of invoices for monthly Bill Run
  • Recommend and support IT enhancements and other process improvements
  • Manage 15+ individuals with the potential for 7+ direct reports
  • Oversee the hiring, promotions, and other personnel decisions of all teammates
  • Overtime as required for the Bill Run on the 1st to the 7th of each month
  • Assist upper management with analysis and other requests as needed
  • Additional duties as required


Required Qualifications:



  • Highly organized and analytical
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • 5+ years of experience with proven leadership
  • Ability to work in an evolving, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's Degree


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Strong technical skills with the following tools: Microsoft Access, Powerpivot, and SQL
