Overview

Responsible for the documentation, analysis, and optimization of Accounts Payable processes and for the effective management, administration, and control of business functions at identified site(s). Helps to oversee the timely and effective execution of all services contracted by the client with senior management within CBPS and the client to optimize those processes to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and quality while reducing cost. Implements financial operations initiatives, leveraging relationships with CBPS experts, client business partners, technologies groups and benchmarking organizations to deliver best-in-class service. Manages and directs employees where applicable and is responsible for compliance with all policies and procedures.



Responsibilities

    Responsible for all KPI, status and productivity reporting, in coordination with peers to drive initiatives and acquire data.Coordinates with IT on any system enhancements or upgrades.
  • Manage and oversee the documentation process, including process maps, desktop procedures, training manual and Quick Reference Guides.
  • Implement six sigma and LEAN methodology to analyze business processes to reduce errors, increase efficiencies and drive cost savings.
  • Champion training activities with the team and end-users.
  • May develop training material and curriculums in partnership with client and CBPS management.
  • May assist with producing and presenting quarterly Executive Business Review.
  • Responsible for presentations and implementing small/large projects in a fast-paced, growing and complex environment.
  • Partner with CBPS experts, third parties and consulting partners to ensure innovation and best-in-class service delivery.
  • Proactively work with the client to identify areas for process improvement, implement controls, increase process efficiency, and determine potential options, including benefit/risk analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to support data quality throughout the process.
  • Assist where necessary with add on business and new products and services.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. MBA preferred.
    7+ years of accounts payable experience or similar process based financial operations.
  • 5+ years as a people or project manager, including management of regional or global initiatives.
  • Proven track record of training and change management successes.
  • Experience handling change management and leading process improvement efforts.
  • Experience working in a medium to large organization.
    Excellent understanding of AP and P2P functions and best practice.
  • Ability to effectively manage tasks and delegate work required.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and business partnering skills.
  • Able to work as a member of a team as well as a self-motivator with demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to follow-through on commitments.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset (preferable familiarity with six sigma and LEAN disciplines).
  • Good organizational skills
