Reports to:

Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

Supervision of facility projects and housekeeping teams to ensure all areas of the warehouse and office spaces are maintained according to department expectations and safety standards.

Primary Duties (5-7 Key responsibilities)

Provide daily leadership and support by managing daily activities of team members.

Provide ongoing training, coaching, motivation and corrective discipline to team members.

Must be able to manage and present department metrics, goal setting, and presenting such information to all levels of contributors.

Use metrics to improve productivity and reduce facility downtime

Create and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and building systems; work with outside contractors as needed.

maintain security system hardware (surveillance, card access equipment).

Manage and lead project schedules, timelines, and budgets.

Maintain and implement safety training and protocols.

Maintain and implement Standard Operating Procedures.

Practice Lean thinking and 5S Methodology; use lean tools (Kaizen events).

Support internal customers by meeting a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for all projects.

Responsible for the maintenance and functionality of all equipment and tools.

Coaching and development of team members to be the best they can be.

Direct and open communication with team members and stakeholders to ensure defined expectations are met.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Adherence of Company Policies including Safety Standards (OSHA).

Identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities.

Create and maintain a safe, positive, engaged work environment.

Qualifications:

Must be able to work from mechanical and/or electrical drawings, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written or oral instructions

Effective communication and leadership skills

Proven ability in relationship building with all levels of an organization

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Willing to work overtime and occasionally travel to other sites, as needed

Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Must be familiar with OSHA and other safety requirements

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

OSHA 10hr+ certification and Electrical certification is a plus.

Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 50 pounds. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

Education And/Or experience:

HS Diploma; College degree in a related field of study is preferred 3-5 years' relevant work experience in a similar role.

Experience in machinery repair, electrical, general carpentry, pipefitting, and welding.
