Job Summary:

The Contract Associate will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and accuracy of the Document Process Repository System (DPRS) and for supporting Contract analysts. This entry level analyst role will learn the technician processes and work as a support on projects that include but are not limited to: Compliance and Discretionary Contract changes, Research Requests, Data Calls, and other small projects. Successful candidates will be familiar with Allstate and Allstate Affiliates insurance contracts and project management processes, and is developing a strong foundation on how the contract fits into overall business strategy.

This position is a permanent remote home-based worker. Your home office does not need to be near an Allstate office, but it does need to be in the United States. This position is eligible for a monthly connectivity reimbursement to offset the costs of internet and phone expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Knowledge

  • Continually seeks opportunities for learning and development within the insurance contracts environment
  • Continues to develop understanding of the fundamentals of systems or applications as needed by a department/discipline
  • Continues to build functional knowledge (e.g., industry standards and environment)

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to)

  • Spot checking and proof-reading insurance contract material
  • Completing tasks within a prearranged time frame
  • Completing research assignments
  • Responsible for updating our repositories with the relevant forms
  • Validates output to ensure business requirements have been met
  • Creates documentation for side-by-side comparison of our insurance policies, as directed

Contract Project Management

  • Supports low level complexity compliance project work along-side a contract analyst by delivering the following tasks: updating business requirements, making contract revisions, and completing other contract-related tasks using acceptable project management tools and processes while adhering to established standards
  • Contributes as a team member to low level complexity compliance project work that impact multiple disciplines, making contract revisions and completing other contract-related tasks using acceptable project management tools and processes while adhering to established standards
  • Adheres to project timelines for contract-related milestones
  • Contributes to building strong relationships among teams and team members to ensure cooperation on project objectives

Process Improvement

  • Periodically participates in the evaluation of procedures and processes
  • Understands and adheres to internal and external compliance requirements/standards
  • Actively participates in the development of communication plans

Research and Analysis

  • Conducts basic insurance contract research and analysis as directed; applies standard knowledge of data sources and applications in research
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 1-2 years corporate experience preferred
  • Quality control and attention to detail
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Time Management skills
  • Intermediate organizational and project management skills
  • Works effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication

Compensation offered for this role is$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearand is based on experience and qualifications.
