The Role

The Lead Network Implementation Program Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and managing a wide variety of projects involving the implementation of ISP and OSP facilities. Oversees the engineering and construction process from conceptualization to completion including the oversight of engineers, construction supervisors, contractors, various trade workers and project managers. Effectively monitors and manages quality and completion of work and resolves issues in a timely manner. This position will be responsible for all aspects of Network Implementation related to Lumen's NRMA fiber build objectives. Accurately reports on the progress of a project and updates databases as applicable to NRMA and GPON.

This job is located in Richfield, MN.

* Relationship building with Vendors
* Quality audit of work performed by vendors
* Responsible for work load balancing among resources
* Responsible for functional management of a market
* Field interface for engineering and construction
* Multi-discipline expertise and responsibility
* Complex work using external vendors: complex network expansion, complex relocations, complex building adds
* Support EPM II

What We Look For in a Candidate

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience or 2-3 years with a Master's Degree
* Must have a valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record. MVR check will be required.
* Minimum 5-7 years' experience in OSP telecommunications construction or operations with at least two of those years working with New Residential Fiber buildout
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Strong leadership attributes; ability to lead, instruct and delegate
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong organizational / admin skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
* Ability to build relationships with cross functional partner departments, vendors, and developers
* Comprehensive knowledge of GPON process, including sales, planning, engineering, construction, turn up, and implementation best practices and procedures
* Previous experience with supervision of projects and project management

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
