What you will be doing

Under general direction of the VP, IT Supply Chain Solutions, responsible for serving as the key director for the overall Supply Chain IT Operations. The role also collaborates across the functional IT Supply Chain department leads to enable efficient and effective operational performance and to drive strategy. The role will execute duties for the Pre-Project phase, During-Project phase, Sustainment phase, and IT business management within the group. The position utilizes strong financial acumen to ensure that the group is operating efficiently, transparently, and driving value. The position utilizes strong domain experience and strategic skills to collaborate and plan the group's strategic plans to meet its stakeholder objectives.

  • Vet and scope opportunities, assist VP of IT-Supply Chain Solutions to drive strategic topics and initiatives, drive plans with business stakeholders on strategic topics
  • Ensure Supply Chain portfolio is properly managed and is moving forward, ensure that proper visibility of the overall Supply Chain product portfolio is accurate and communicated
  • Ensure that individual departments resource needs are met for Run/Sustainment, and that these needs are "right-placed" into the right worldwide geographies to achieve optimal service quality and the optimal cost
  • Assist VP of IT-Supply Chain Solutions and department leads with running the IT business, including process improvements, resource/cost planning, and strategic direction
  • Responsible for defining the processes and standards required to successfully document and publish the IT Service Catalog
  • Accountable to ensuring that all services in the IT Service Catalog meet the minimum requirements including definition, costing and required metrics
  • Produce and distribute Service Level performance metrics for assigned services
  • Responsible for maintaining the Service Catalog for assigned services
  • Accountable for across domain process definition for the Service Management domain
  • Responsible for management of shared resources within the services domain in support of the Service Portfolio Owners
  • Accountable for the creation and maintenance of all service process and standards documentation
  • Accountable for the management and career development of direct reports
  • Mentoring of IT resources
What your background should look like
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred
  • Progressive leadership experience over 10+ years in an IT environment with significant business exposure
  • ITIL v3 Foundation Certified
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Subject matter expertise in both the business and technology
  • Skilled in conflict management
  • Experience working in a matrix environment
  • Able to anticipate customer needs and expectations
  • Able to influence associates who are not in your direct reporting structure
  • Demonstrated strategic agility
  • Advanced interpersonal skills; able to establish and maintain relationships and navigate formal and informal networks to create results
  • Clear understanding of project capital and expense budgeting and accounting skills and the related financial systems
  • Advanced communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution capabilities at all levels of management
  • Strong presentation skills
    Advanced ability to adapt to change, handle pressure, and adjust plans to meet changing needs, and solve problems creatively
  • Advanced decision making skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate issues and apply knowledge to identify and implement appropriate solutions
  • Strong ability to prioritize work load, consistently meet deadlines, and take the appropriate level of independent action when necessary
  • Able to travel a minimum of 25%
