Global Retail Productivity Analyst

As an Analyst in our Global Retail Productivity team, you will help optimize our workforce efficiency, ensuring seamless operations across multiple locations. You will be responsible for several reporting tools including forecasting, scheduling, and monitoring workforce performance to improve productivity. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our retail environment on a global scale.

You will report into the Director of Global Retail Productivity and Operations. This is a hybrid role and will require working from our San Francisco headquarters three days per week.

About the Role:

1. Data Collection and Exploration:

  • Gather and clean data from multiple sources, including sales, transactions, units, traffic, and labor hours.

  • Explore and visualize data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships that provide valuable insights for workforce management.

2. Operational Efficiency and Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through data-driven analysis.

3. Strategic Decision Support:

  • Provide applicable insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific business questions or challenges.

4. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnerships:

  • Collaborate with teams including Retail, Merchandizing, Marketing, E-commerce, Operations, and Finance, to develop and implement data-driven solutions.

  • Communicate findings to stakeholders.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field.

  • One year of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or similar role.

  • Advanced level of experience in Excel functions (i.e., Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, IF, and SUMIF formulas).

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

  • Passion for continuous learning and staying up to date on the latest advancements in data science and analytics.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $66,500 - $104,800. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
