Records and Information Management Director EVC&P Administration Full Time 78182BR Job Summary The Records and Information Management Director ensures UCSF's compliance with governmental requirements under the domain of the California Public Records Act (CPRA), California Information Practice Act (IPA), California Labor Code, the Federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and the various State, Federal, and local statutes involving subpoenas. The Director oversees the team that manages day to day operations of the Campus records management program including the collection, redaction, and timely production of campus records and digital information in response to requests made pursuant to the Acts and Statutes named above, ensuring that the campus response conforms with state and federal laws, regulations, and university policy, serving as central subject matter expert. The Director consults and confers with both internal and external agencies in the scope of responding to requests for public records, particularly UC legal counsel, to ensure that the responses to all requests are managed under the purview of current case law, as determined by counsel. The Director provides advice and guidance to Campus departments regarding the management of public and confidential information and legal compliance regarding such.
