Bed Flow Coordinator; 40 hours/week 11a-730pm

Job Summary:

• Reporting to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer, the bed flow coordinator works in collaboration with the Administrative Nursing Supervisor, Case Management, Admitting, Nurse Managers, Charge Nurses and Unit Coordinators throughout Patient Care Services to maintain accurate patient throughput data and management of the electronic bedboard while promoting efficient patient throughput and timely discharges.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience
  • Minimum two years current hospital experience
  • Knowledge in patient flow principles (admissions, discharges and transfers)
