Overview

The Banking Center Manager supports the Overseas Military Banking Program. This role is an international assignment Defense Department (DoD) Contractor position responsible for a Military Banking Facility on the Guantanamo Bay military installation. Banking Center Managers (BCMs) operate fully on-site as business owners and are responsible for ensuring operational risk excellence of their banking center while fostering a customer-centric environment. The BCM's core responsibility is the day-to-day performance and overall operational management of the banking center. BCMs report to the Market Leader.

Responsibilities

Drive operations and customer experience by engaging team members on business strategy and performance results. Evaluate key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement. Execute risk and service delivery strategy by fostering collaboration between banking center team members, business partners and local Command officials. Conduct ongoing reviews to ensure optimal efficiency in cash management processes. Communicate the need to meet or exceed performance expectations while emphasizing the importance of long-term strategies and goals. Adhere to, enforce, and carry out internal and regulatory policies, procedures, and processes. Proactively identify and manage risk in business, product, and service transactions. Foster a customer-centric environment whereby team members are accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience. Responsible for servicing retail customers, private/official organizations, and onsite/offsite ATMs. Drive participation in community involvement and financial education opportunities. Ensure customers are connected to products/services that help them achieve their financial goals. Hold team members accountable to performance standards, customer experience expectations, and risk management strategy. Successfully resolve customer issues and escalations timely and professionally. Responsible for team member and customer safety. Observe, model and coach on proper execution of banking center risk and service strategy. Drive team member performance via continuous coaching, developmental opportunities, and documented performance plans. Actively participate in team member recognition opportunities. Effectively manage budgeted FTE, maintain a staffing plan, and consistently develop a talent pool.

Qualifications

* Minimum of three years banking supervisory experience building, leading, managing and coaching a team.
* Minimum of two years in the Banking Center Manager or Assistant Manager/Operations Manager role.
* Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with others outside of reporting authority to achieve goals
* Excellent leadership, management and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to lead a culturally diverse group.
* Strong organizational, planning, decision making and time management techniques. Ability to analyze and interpret information.
* Strong communication skills (including verbal, non-verbal, written and presentation and active listening skills)

Desired Qualifications

* Undergraduate diploma, banking degree or equivalent desired, but not required.
* Personal or professional familiarity with U.S. military, Defense Department, and/or international communities desired, but not required.

Location: Community Bank - Guantanamo Bay, Cuba
