IT Systems Specialist

Annual Salary Range: $80,000 - $95,000 depending on experience.

Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc. (TABS) has an exciting opportunity at our TGCS Raleigh, NC location for a IT Systems Specialist. This position will support both TABS and TGCS.

Summary:

Provide initial design, implementation, optimization, administration, and technical documentation of infrastructure systems for TABS/TGCS. Specific focus on migration, configuration and integration of new Microsoft Applications including implementing Office 365 and related Active Directory.

Responsibilities:



  • Design, implement and administer infrastructure systems for TABS/TGCS.
  • Implement systems solutions as required to ensure effective and efficient systems.
  • Analyze, test and debug applications in support of infrastructure systems.
  • Develop and implement best practices to ensure operational and cost efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor infrastructure performance standards.
  • Project manage implementation of IT Systems projects.
  • Manage and maintain Windows, including capacity planning, systems monitoring and security.
  • Design and implement tools to provide trend analysis and performance data.
  • Manage daily administration of TABS/TGCS Office 365 Tenant including all modules (Exchange, Intune, etc.,) as well as on premises servers and soft layer sites.
  • Engineer solutions for complex problems that generally require in-depth analysis and creative thinking where innovation and a wide range of autonomy for decision making is required.
  • Identify errors that are often difficult to detect and performs root cause analysis in finding resolution to problems that typically lack precedent.
  • Recommend improvements and/alternatives for existing systems. Research and recommend emerging technologies to increase cost effectiveness, system ability and future expandability.
  • Engineer solutions for complex problems that generally require in-depth analysis and creative thinking where innovation and a wide range of autonomy for decision making is required. Identify errors that are often difficult to detect and performs root cause analysis in finding resolution to problems that typically lack precedent. Recommend improvements and/alternatives for existing systems.
  • Research and recommend emerging technologies to increase cost effectiveness, system ability and future expandability.
  • Provide Level 1 and level 2 (escalated) IT Support.
  • Manage and maintain complex infrastructure systems for TABS/TGCS. Bring TABS/TGCS into a totally new environment, Office 365, working with Cloud based assets, both Azure and Softlayer.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of infrastructure experience including but not limited to a combination of the following; Design, Implementation and Administration of Windows infrastructure.
  • Office 365 back end and Active Directory management.
  • Exchange Email experience (ver 2010 and above), Group Policy, and WSUS deployment.
  • Must be proficient in Power Shell commands.
  • Must have demonstrated experience with Share Point, Federation and Intune, Office 365 groups and policy settings.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing large scale projects with ability to scale project needs as required.
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills required.
  • Possess strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to travel periodically.


Preferred:



  • Microsoft Certified Engineer or Microsoft Certified Software Expert preferred but not required.
  • Project management skills a plus.
