Your Role With Us:Salem Health is seeking a team-centric self-starter as an Associate HR Generalist for HR Operations. This position will fulfil these and other functions: Provides customer support and issue resolution for basic inquiries. Serves as a resourceful partner to the customer, researching issues and providing education and instruction. For internal customers, provides instruction for self-service resources. Uses all modes of communication, including e-mail, phone, etc. to finalize inquiries and provide customer follow-up. Maintains workflows for assigned focus areas/processes. Completes independent assignments during times of low customer volume. Maintains accurate and complete documentation on all customer inquiries, including documenting services performed, instructions offered, etc. Identifies escalation paths within HR to respond to complex matters. Transitions the customer inquiry to the HR subject matter expert in a seamless fashion, providing clear documentation of the situation, steps taken to assist the customer, barriers identified, anticipated action items, etc. Proficient in all HR systems and applications utilized by the Service Center Team, and maintains an understanding of applicable HR laws, regulations, and updates. We are also seeking: Minimum one (1) year applicable customer service experience. Previous HR experience strongly preferred. Experience in a health care environment preferred. Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills to troubleshoot unclear inquiries to select proper protocol. Excellent customer service and teamwork skills required, including experience in defusing difficult customers. Exceptional attention to detail. Proficiencies in utilizing HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems, Word and Excel required. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
