Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager

Position Summary: As a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager, the individual will work closely with clients to elicit requirements, analyze use cases and design technical solutions to facilitate the implementation of the Beacon Platform. The individual will work closely with Sales and Account Managers, Client Engineers, Solution Architects, Client and Prospect Developers and End Users to scope, plan, lead, and execute on client-facing Proof of Concept and Implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit requirements from business end users, quants & engineers, both client facing and internally, including organizing requirement gathering workshops and deep-dive sessions.
• Analyze technical use cases and perform gap analysis to highlight changes required.
• Design workflow charts & diagrams and create as-is & to-be specifications.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, considering both the business and architectural perspectives.
• Document system and functional specifications for utilization by engineering teams & forming contracts for client engagements.
• Manage full project life cycle, including project definition, scope, resource planning, business analysis, technical design, development, testing, training, and project close-out
• Communicate effectively through various mediums, and across all levels of Beacon and client organizations, to ensure transparent status reporting, change management and issue resolution
• Coordinate and proactively manage internal Beacon teams' activities as they relate to projects
• Minimize Project Risk through pragmatic and collaborative removal of blockers and/or issues
• Learn from and contribute to Beacon's Project Management organization on best practices and client management

Required Skills & Approach:

• 5-10 years of PM/BA experience delivering pricing, risk, analytic and/or development platform solutions
• Knowledge of financial markets and workflows
• Keen ability to listen, engage, challenge, and probe clients during requirement gathering exercises to ensure proper translation of requirements and design of future state
• Demonstrable record of business analysis and designing technical solutions for a PaaS / SaaS
• Ability to effectively present technical concepts and methods to non-technical users
• Track record of full lifecycle project management on client-facing projects of 6+ duration
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with great attention to detail
• Team player, friendly and can adjust to changing priorities with aplomb
• Positive attitude with a proven ability to foster relationships with clients and team members
• Proactive work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills & Approach:

• Project Management Certification: PMP, Prince 2
• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst / Quality Engineer / Developer
• Experience with SecDB / Athena / Quartz

Expected salary $150,000 - $185,000
