Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for a variety of tasks crucial to maintaining the company's financial accuracy and efficiency. Key duties include: Accurately processing inventory invoices through a workflow and three-way match process, ensuring proper approvals and coding before entry and payment. Collaborating with Purchasing, Pricing, and Vendor contacts to reconcile invoice and purchase order discrepancies. Processing non-inventory invoices and vendor credit memos with appropriate approvals and coding before entry and payment. Conducting daily check runs and handling check requests as needed. Booking vendor-related bank transactions and managing vendor freight chargebacks. Processing company credit card statements and reconciling vendor statements. Managing all vendor-related communications via email and phone in a positive and proactive manner to enhance vendor relations. Providing backup support for opening mail, filing, check stuffing, scanning, indexing, and other clerical tasks. Assisting with miscellaneous projects as assigned by management. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Once the AP Specialist is fully trained, they will be able to work a hybrid schedule, being remote on Monday and Friday and in the office located in Dublin Tuesday - Thursday.
