The Training Simulator Testing unit is responsible for deploying state-of-the-art, high fidelity simulators for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP). These simulators fulfill a critical training need to ensure effective and efficient qualification of Naval Nuclear Operators in the NNPP training program. In this position, the engineer will support aspects of initial design, testing, and deployment of the simulators to the NNPP training commands in Charleston, SC and West Milton, NY. This position has high visibility and will require close interaction and coordination with other engineers at NNL as well as interfacing with external organizations, including Naval Reactors. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
* Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Preferred Skills
* Experience conducting a shipboard or simulator test program Compensation and Benefits
Pay Range
$103,100.00 - $161,100.00 annually

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is a national asset solely dedicated to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
