Senior Project Manager, Construction

Milton Hershey School
United States, Pennsylvania, Hershey
Jul 25, 2024
Description

Milton Hershey School (MHS) plays a special role in the lives of our students-far different from that of any other pre-K through 12th-grade school in the world. When chocolatier Milton S. Hershey and his wife, Catherine, founded the school in 1909, they did so with the intention of giving children with less more-more hands-on learning, more access to daily needs, and more opportunities to enrich their lives. More than a century later, the school has graduated almost 12,000 students.

MHS is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager Construction (SPMC) to join the team. The SPMC is responsible for the execution of construction activities associated with capital construction and asset renewal budgets. This role requires a detailed and in-depth understanding of architectural engineering, construction practices, the requirements of applicable contracts, a solid working relationship with design professionals outside contractors and an ongoing presence on site to help ensure proper completion of contracts. Furthermore, the SPMC manages a team comprised of the MHS team, contracted personnel in the execution, administration, enforcement & performance of contracts for the construction, renovation and preventive maintenance of campus facilities to support the nurturing and learning environment for the students and staff.

The starting compensation range for this position is $87K - $115K plus a competitive benefits package. This is an year-round, on-site Monday - Friday position in Hershey, PA.
